Topchan - Tashkent

I recently stayed at Topchan in Tashkent for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The hostel's vibrant artwork created a bright and beautiful atmosphere. The well-designed large dorm provided comfort and convenience, with every bed equipped with a socket. The breakfast spread was delicious, offering a variety of items like fruit, eggs, bread, and biscuits. They also kindly stored our bags while we took a short trip out of the city. The A/C was a lifesaver in the August heat.

As a tourist, I really liked the friendly and helpful staff at the reception. They were easy to approach and provided great assistance. the co-founder, Rafael, was very efficient in replying to my inquiries via email. the whole building was warm, clean, and had a unique artistic decoration that added to the overall comfort. the airport pickup and drop off services were also reasonably priced, making it convenient for travelers. the quality of this place was exceptional and the price was affordable, making it stand out among more expensive hotels.

I felt safe walking at night and nothing was too much trouble.

The hostel also offers great amenities, such as free water and hot drinks, and there are mini marts conveniently located nearby. I also loved the social atmosphere, with plenty of spaces to mingle with other travelers. I would be more than happy to return to this welcoming hostel.

Despite a small hiccup in the dorm room with an inappropriate guest, the staff quickly resolved the issue and moved him to another room. We had a wonderful stay at a hostel in Tashkent. The design of the place was really nice, with lots of beautiful paintings and graffiti. The beds were comfortable and the common areas were great for hanging out and meeting other travelers. The staff, especially the guys from the hostel, were fun, friendly, and spoke good English. The showers and toilets were always clean and there were plenty of them. The breakfast was okay for a hostel. I highly recommend this place for a great backpacker experience.
